Knowledge creation has been the key role of universities and will continue to be their key strength. Knowledge is created through teaching and learning process, research, innovation, intellectual discourses, and publications. However, here, we are talking about converting this knowledge into value that goes beyond the knowledge creation process and is used to directly create a process, product, or service that is used by and is useful to a large segment of society. Faculties, students, and researchers are the core of the process of knowledge creation and the Academia is transforming itself to connect in more avenues with the industry. We will discuss about the common grounds towards the merge of basic and applied research, producing graduates who understands the pace of technological disruption, and are able to adhere life-long learning to support sustainable industrial growth. We are looking forward to discuss the common grounds to foster this Alliance towards the journey to 2030.
